It's not the most appropriate for the genre.

Idk, doesn't seem like a good genre for church to me.

Those are mostly cellos, aren't they?

I think so, yes. By "bass" I mean the undercurrent tune, not the stringed instrument. That can be played by double basses, bass guitars, cellos, etc. That's also the left-hand part of piano music (or other keyboard instruments).

I really like this song from a CD I got for Christmas. I feel like the lyrics evoke pretty powerful images for how sparse they are. I like economic writing like that. :3

I have the collector set still in the box. I'm not allowed to open it to watch the movie, apparently. But yes, I really liked it.

So I finally got to see Muse in concert. It was definitely worth it. I highly recommend them!

Recently someone introduced me to Owl City, and I've been enjoying their All Things Bright and Beautiful album since. I looked over their other albums, and I'm being told that none of them sound as good or anything like All Things. Are they actually that bad?

Well, Owl City's older stuff is great (especially his self-released album "Maybe I'm Dreaming"), but I think he'd perfected his dreamy sound by ATB&B, which actually made me cry when I first listened to it. However, I feel that his latest album sounds too much like the generic dance pop that's all over the radio.

I got to see Chuck Berry perform tonight and it was really cool! It was even the same stage I performed on. I feel so important~
