Hello all,

I'm able to go to Anthrocon this summer and am checking around to see if anyone else was planning to go. For those interested, hotel room registration opens Thursday February 2nd and the main hotels get booked practically within minutes, so decisions have to be made soon.

June 30th - July 2nd
Pittsburgh Convention Center

I'm going to be there! It'll be my first furry convention.

I'll be the dad with twins trying to keep them out of trouble.

I'll have to see you there then!

Did they want to go or are you just dragging them there? :P

My wife registered us to AC as a Christmas gift. My kids have no idea they are being dragged there. :) I have family in the suburbs of Pittsburgh so they will get to see their great aunt and uncle before the con.

We hope to see y'all there! I'm hoping my kids will like all the fuzzballs running around. They have never been around suiters before, so we are thinking about a trial run at a local meet or a day at Anthrohio.

If they're anything like mine, they'll probably stick to you like glue for the first hour or so. After that, they'll cling to the suiters.

I only took my daughter to a local meet once, had to nearly pry her away from one of the suiters to give him a chance to interact with anyone else. She still fondly remembers 'piep' (squeak) whenever I show her the photo (he had a squeaker in his mouth so that became his name.) I also took care to point out that there were actual people inside the suits; it was kinda hard to avoid as everyone had lunch in a restaurant at the half-way point. It doesn't seem to have impaired her fantasy yet.

Look for these three tails running around for me! Probably the black and yellow running after the blue tails.

That's adorable!

Probably, after a day of running around, there'll be two blue tails swinging down above the yellow one :)

We should meet up! At the very least there's a Sunday morning Christian meet we should all go to. :3

Anthrocon was awesome! We got to see fursuiters everywhere, buy art, surprise lots of random Pittsburgh natives, watch fursuit dancing and Kage being amusing, play Magic and Werewolf with furries, and did lots of other fun stuff all weekend. I'm really glad I managed to get there this week!

I'm not sure I saw you, Johnny! :( Maybe another time we'll run into each other. How did your kids like the convention?

I'm gonna upload some pictures I took in a bit!

of note: at conventions, Sleet has been the werewolf EVERY SINGLE TIME.

God knows I'm good at it so He pulls some strings. 0:3

EDIT: Pictures, as promised! I have several more but most of them are sun-blinded pictures from the parade. Apparently PhpBB is formatting them all horizontally so my apologies for that. Click on them to turn them the right way!
