The aim of this game is to guess the common phrase/idiom/proverb/saying/expression from the overly-complicated and overly fancy way that the person before writes it.

E.g.
Player 1: "One member of class aves located in the metacarpo-phalangeal region is equal in value to two members of the same class located in a small to medium sized botanical specimen."
Player 2: "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush."

If you get it right you get to create the next overly complicated expression!

Here's the first challenge:

"Each member of genus Rosa is in possession of a cortico-epidermal extension."

Good luck!

Every rose has its thorns.

The intersection of midday sustenance and goods of integer, non-whole number market value is the empty set.

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

Observe prior to launching oneself.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

Atmospheric conditions producing optical effects within the vicinity of 650nm in the evening produce an euphoric effect in those engaged in the husbandry of animals of ovine persuasion however the same conditions in the morning are an indicator that vigilance is warranted for those same people.

It's raining cats and dogs!

This event is progressing with very little speed at all, much akin to the nature of a by-product of refining sugarcane.

Ugh, that spins me right around! I know quite a lot of 'em, but this one...
Simplified: wrong mass turning on a scale base
Suggested saying: Time to tip the scales.

The attempt made after two failed tries is suprisingly more likely to succeed.

Sorry but that's not right, Rainbow.
Hint: It's from a fun movie.

Yours is "Third time lucky" or "Third time's the charm".

Once again:

That hint isn't helpful...
Pfff... Something with a seesaw or a scale.
...No. I give up.

People say their own place of residence tastes like sugar.

EDIT: forgot to put in mine...

"I have a bad feeling about this!"

I think I'll blink continuously, just a few dozens of seconds will be enough.

"I think I'll just shut my eyes for a minute."

Should you be experiencing an influx of endorphins and should you become aware of this happening, please indicate this sonically via the striking together of your metacarpophalangeal regions.
