So apparently there's a new furry game coming out called FurVilla. You can take a template and color it and use it as an avatar.

This looks like it could be fun.
No dogs yet though...

Is it a game or is it a modified social network?

It's supposed to be a game, but I'm still not sure what the gameplay is like.

I don't know anything about this game yet but from a quick trawl of the site, this post about their mods written by the head mod makes me very, very wary of joining.

The moderators owe the entire Furvilla Community a massive apology. The deletion of many, many threads that never actually violated the Terms of Service wasn't right of us, and we are working to rectify and retrain our team before we open the forums and chats again to make sure this is never an issue again. Miscommunication is no excuse, and we gravely apologize for the trauma this has caused many users who did absolutely nothing wrong. We sincerely hope you enjoy the rest of the site while we work diligently to right our wrongs.

That does seem a bit drastic, but I saw some screen grabs on UKFurBoards of before the forums were closed and extreme doesn't do it justice. Perhaps the mods overreacted, but for a good reason. They are now actively recruiting furs as mods now. I don't think they were expecting what happened to happen, so just panicked and went with a carpet bombing approach. It will be interesting to see what happens when the forums go live again.

The game is pretty nice even without the forums. I kind of missed whatever happened with the forums, but I think it was probably just trolls trying to make things difficult and untrained mods responding poorly.
