This is really a great day :)
In this SICK times we are living right now that light of hope was needed !

Christ the King, great festival. Should have prayed for Poland at Mass, I'll say some extras tomorrow.

@Quelami what didn't you realise was possible? Having particular days for countries etc in the Christian calendar? Or praying at Mass? :D

Well, it's kind of... unusual to have OFFICIALLY Christ ruling a country. And how much bigger is that statue from the one found in Rio?

Well, it's just the first time I heard of someone who is not currently alive and on Earth officially ruling a country. With exception of early times written in the Bible, that is. That was before Israel got a king.

It's kind of an honorific, the President rules Poland. It's like calling the Virgin Mary the Mother of Austria. It's kind of like Poland saying: "Yeah, we're really aligning ourselves with Jesus"!

Remember, though, Jesus isn't dead - he took his body with him back to heaven. ;)

Of course we can't forget, He did die. Showing the power of God reaches beyond the one great leveller of existence. :D

It goes without saying that both the death and revival of Jesus are important for our #twostagerescue. But yeah, currently He's the living (and loving) God!

Hence why the word "and" was italic.

Okay, that makes sense. Well, Poland did make an unique choice there.
