What are you thankful for?

For Americans, today is Thanksgiving! For the rest of you, go away this is our holiday. (I’m kidding. You can participate too!) Know that no matter how your family situation is, however far away they may be, or however discordant, or however nonsupportive, or however nonexistent, we all have each other! The blood of Christ is thicker than the water of the womb, after all.

I’m thankful for all of you and everything this community has done for me in helping me grow in my faith!

I’m thankful I live in a place not torn by war, famine, or natural disasters, and have access to food, clothing, and shelter.

I’m thankful for God’s love and how He picks up the slack where I fall short.

I’m thankful for having Tom in my life, and everything he does for me!

I’m also thankful that cake pops exist. Just saying.

I am actually thankful for quite a lot. I think to distill it down, it would be for growing in faith and love for myself and for God. A big part of that – of both – has been my rediscovery of the furry fandom.

For me it’s God, employment, and having accepting friends and family.
